Join Chemda as she introduces Carrie to the series, episode by episode. Will Carrie guess what’s going to happen next? Will Chemda find a new appreciation for the show? And when it’s all said and done, will they even remain friends?
We're tackling four Thanksgivings in one day! In this episode of Gilmore Friends, Chemda (veteran watcher) and Carrie (first-time watcher, strictly spoiler-free) break down Gilmore Girls Season 3, Episode 9, ”A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving.”
From the absolute chaos of deep-frying anything not nailed down at Sookie and Jackson’s to drunken kitchen breakdowns, we cover all the Thanksgiving stops. We dive into Mrs. Kim’s Tofurkey marathon with ”Fake Guitar Dave” (and that iconic ”Bible Kiss Bible” moment), the awkwardness of bringing flowers without a vase to Luke's, and the explosive dinner table drama at Richard and Emily's when Rory's Ivy League safety school secret drops. Plus: Cat Kirk, New York bathroom survival tactics, Jennifer Aniston trivia, and Carrie's spicy predictions for Rory, Dean, and Jess!
